Chanel Iman, the renowned supermodel and entrepreneur, is not ready to completely close the door on her days with Victoria’s Secret. In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, the 34-year-old revealed she would consider returning to the iconic Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, provided the circumstances are right.
Iman, who graced the runway as an Angel for several years, emphasized the importance of feeling confident before stepping back into such a prominent role. “It would take the gym for me to feel confident enough to go back on the runway, but as we grow older, we change [and] we evolve,” she stated. The model candidly noted that she would need adequate preparation time, saying, “I would just need some time ahead of time in order for me to return. I can’t be booked last minute. I don’t know if we’re there yet after three kids.”
The mother of three shares her daughters, Cali (7) and Cassie (5), with her ex-husband Sterling Shepard, as well as a two-year-old daughter, Capri, with her current partner, Davon Godchaux. Iman mentioned that to make her comeback to the show, she would require “at least three months to know that [the show] is coming”. She expressed enthusiasm at the prospect of reuniting with fellow former Angels like Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel, and Jasmine Tookes, all of whom took part in the 2025 show.
While Iman did not walk the runway this year, she is channeling her focus into her family and professional endeavors with the launch of her new clothing line. This latest collection features classic pajamas designed with year-round wearability in mind. Iman shared that her extensive experience in the fashion industry greatly influenced her creative process.
“My holiday tradition has always been ordering matching pajamas for the family,” Iman revealed. “This collection was really created for everyone to [match] and feel cozy. I wanted to design something that was timeless that you can wear throughout the entire year.” She highlighted her love for black, noting, “Black is always a go-to in my everyday life,” while also introducing a deep navy option for the holiday season.
In a heartwarming CHASA campaign, Iman is joined by her daughters, who mimic their mother’s modeling flair in the matching pajamas. Iman noted their excitement about the holiday season, especially in the art of gift-giving: “They get so excited to give to me as much as I’m giving to them. I think our family — we are all givers here — we always try to figure out what we [can] give to each other [to] make each other feel special.” The family also practices generosity by donating a portion of their toys before Christmas, allowing them to relish the new gifts they receive.
As the holiday season approaches, Iman is looking forward to celebrating in New Orleans, where her husband plays as a defensive end for the New Orleans Saints. Anticipating a culinary delight, she expressed, “I always cook so I’m making tons of soul food for my family.” The festivities will feature an array of Creole cuisine, including jambalaya and gumbo. “We love playing games. I grew up playing lots of gift games. My favorite thing is just spending quality time with the family. It’s nice when we all can be together and really enjoy each other,” Iman said.
With plans for a joyous holiday filled with laughter, games, and plenty of delicious food, Chanel Iman is embracing the spirit of the season while reminiscing about the past and looking ahead to new opportunities in her career.
